Welcome!

I am currently an Assistant Professor at Tulane University. Previously I was a postdoc at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution working with Dr. Sune Nielsen. I earned my PhD working with Prof. Ingrid Hendy at Department of Earth & Environmental Sciences, University of Michigan.

My major research interests center on redox reconstruction (oxygenation) shifts in the Earth history to better understand underlying natural vs. anthropogenic forcing. I apply multiple redox proxies (from isotopes to trace metals) and data-model comparison methods to understand patterns of natural oxygenation forcing, and large scale oceanic responses (ocean circulation changes) to atmospheric circulations.
